This striking vintage sterling silver ring features a bold, oval face executed in the traditional Navajo overlay style. Stamped with the hallmark "FLN," the piece showcases a masterful use of positive and negative space, created by soldering a hand-cut silver design onto a darkened, oxidized backplate to achieve depth and contrast.

The artwork interprets stylized pottery or vessel imagery, accented by dot motifs that often represent seeds, corn, or rain in Southwest iconography. To the left of the vessel, a stepped geometric pattern balances the organic curves of the central design. The large face is supported by a sturdy split-shank band that merges comfortably at the back for a secure fit. Weighing a substantial 7.6 grams, this ring is a durable and wearable example of mid-to-late 20th-century Native American style metalwork.

The ring fits a Size 7 finger and bears the "FLN" maker's mark inside the band.
