Description

This substantial pendant marries the ancient Egyptian symbol of eternal life with the renowned modernist craftsmanship of Taxco, Mexico. Weighing in at a solid 12 grams, the piece features a clean, geometric design with flared arms that offer a distinct silhouette compared to standard wire Ankhs. The smooth sterling silver surface boasts a rich, natural patina that highlights its vintage character, though it can be polished to a high shine if preferred.

Measuring 2 5/16 inches in length including the bale and 1 3/16 inches in width, this cross has a significant presence on the neckline without being overpowering. The reverse is stamped with MEXICO 925 and the registration mark T7-C8, confirming its authentic pedigree as a piece of Mexican silver artistry likely produced in the post-1979 era. It hangs from a sturdy bale that is wide enough to accommodate a variety of chains or a thick leather cord to complete a bohemian or spiritual look.

Vintage Condition & Care: All items listed are previously owned and used unless otherwise stated. Please expect signs of wear such as scuffs, blemishes, or imperfections. While most pieces are gently cleaned with a jeweler's cloth or warm soapy water, Native American pieces are left unpolished to preserve the natural patina often desired by collectors.
