This beautiful piece, crafted from sterling silver, features a captivating greenish-blue turquoise stone as its centerpiece, held securely in a traditional bezel setting accented with delicate twisted wire and silver bead details. The split shank cuff is adorned with timeless stamped designs, showcasing the artistry and attention to detail characteristic of this beloved jewelry genre.

Weighing a comfortable 21.8 grams, this bracelet is designed to fit a wrist size of approximately 6 3/4 to 7 inches. It measures 5 1/4" with 1 3/4" opening and 1" wide at the center. While it bears no maker's markings, its style and craftsmanship speak volumes of its heritage, likely dating to the mid-20th century when tourist jewelry, influenced by Navajo silversmiths, gained immense popularity.

The Fred Harvey era (roughly 1900s-1950s) was a pivotal time for Native American jewelry. As tourism boomed with the expansion of the Santa Fe Railroad, the Fred Harvey Company and various trading posts commissioned lighter, more accessibly priced silver and turquoise jewelry for travelers. These pieces often featured symbolic stampwork such as arrows, thunderbirds, and sun faces, making them cherished souvenirs and wearable art. Navajo silversmiths, renowned for their skill since the mid-1800s, adapted their traditional, often heavier, designs to meet this new demand, creating a style that remains highly collectible today. This bracelet, with its elegant form and classic stone setting, captures the spirit of that transformative period, offering a tangible connection to the rich history of Native American artistry and the allure of the American West. It’s a timeless treasure perfect for any collector or lover of unique, handcrafted jewelry.

This one suits wrists from about 6.4" to 6.85". Measure with a tape or a strip of paper, snug against the skin, just below the wrist bone.

Classic comfort fit +0.50" of room

Room to breathe and to move the wrist, without sliding about. This is where most people want to be.

Non-adjustable — solid silver

Thick-gauge sterling does not move by hand, and forcing it work-hardens the shoulders until they crack. Please buy to your measurement rather than planning to adjust it.

Set with Turquoise.

How to put a vintage cuff on without bending it
  1. Turn the cuff so the gap faces the underside of your wrist.
  2. Rest the opening against the narrowest part — the flat side of the wrist, not the back of the hand.
  3. Roll it on: slide one terminal past the wrist bone, then rotate the cuff around rather than pushing it straight on.
  4. Turn the gap back underneath once it is on.

The roll is the whole trick. Pushing a cuff on straight is what makes people force the gap wider, and the silver does not come back.
